Meet CLARA
Your Personal Cognitive Language Assistant
CLARA is an iOS-based AI assistant designed to support individuals experiencing word-finding difficulties, language processing challenges, and memory-related communication issues. Whether you're recovering from a stroke, managing dementia, or simply looking for cognitive support, CLARA adapts to your unique needs and provides personalized assistance in your daily communication.

Chat
Navigate your Personal Language Context
CLARA learns from what matters to you. By combining your personal language context with relevant moments from past conversations, CLARA builds a meaningful memory that helps understand your prompts and respond in a way that feels natural, familiar, and truly personal.

Games
Engaging Cognitive Training
Train your language skills through fun, engaging games. From word associations and opposites to missing-vowel challenges and spatial word puzzles, CLARA turns evidence-based speech-therapy exercises into personalized games that focus on the words and topics most important to you.

Photo
Turning Images into Words
Visual cues play an important role in word retrieval. CLARA's photo feature lets users upload images of objects or personal photos to receive descriptive language support—helping bridge the gap between recognition, naming, and memory.

Onboarding
Build Your Personal Language Context
During onboarding, users create a personal language profile by adding family members, interests, and meaningful places. This language context becomes the foundation for personalized chats and adaptive language games throughout the app.

Profile
Manage Your Personal Language Context
The Profile section gives users full control over their personal language context. Here, you can add, edit, or remove people, interests, and places, fine-tune settings like response length and chat memory, and manage how game vocabulary is generated—helping CLARA adapt more precisely to your needs. Like a health app, CLARA also tracks your interactions across chats, photos, and games to create a language activity overview that can be shared with your speech therapist to support and guide therapy.
